Payment conditions

• Bookings for Giraffe Walks, Night Drives and Getaways are done through the secure payment gateway on the website. 

• Full payment to secure bookings. 

• 75% refund 2 weeks prior to booking.

• 50% refund 1 week prior to booking.

• 25% refund up to 48h prior to booking.

Indemnity

• Visitors will be given indemnity forms to sign on arrival at the activity centre. 

• Acceptance of online payments also includes an indemnity form in our T’s&C’s.

• Swartberg Game Reserve will not be held liable for any accidents, loss of property or injury. 

• Swartberg Game Reserve will assist in calling authorities in the case of an emergency.

• Take care to leave no trace

• Take care of the equipment

• Talk quietly when out in the bush

• Listen to the sounds of the bush, there is so much to hear in the stillness. 

• Please only smoke in designated areas

• Swartberg Game Reserve is private and will only be enjoyed by our guests.

• Oudtshoorn town has a state of the art medical facility and is 30 minutes from the reserve.

• Animal encounters will all be with a qualified guide.
